a good example of film marketing was fortnite when in chapter 1 season 9 they used Keanu Reeves to promote the John Wick chapter 3 and also to gather more players by connecting the two together and expanding their fan base on both sides and creating a gaming/movie community. The gaming company done the same marketing strategy with avengers infinity war in chapter 1 season 4 to promote the 2018 movie where they again expanded fan basses on both sides. Fortnite also used this technique with the musician Marshmallow where they brought a skin and dj equipment to the game and hosed a live concert on the video game with the artist promoting his music while promoting the game.
